Our pricing follows a simple line: free is local, paid is cloud. The work you can do entirely on your own machine — dictating with Ora, writing and organizing in Zyler — is free. What you pay for is the cloud: bigger limits, the premium models, and hosted features that need more than your laptop can give.

Billing is usage-based against your plan's pool, tracked in real time — you can always see what you've spent, and the free allowance resets on a rolling basis so there's no "midnight cliff."
Why priced this way
On-device compute is yours; we shouldn't charge rent on your own CPU. Cloud compute is ours to run, and that's what a subscription pays for. Drawing the line at "local vs. cloud" keeps the free tier honest and the paid tier fair.
Free should be a real place to live, not a trailer for the paid product.
